Anyone know where I can get a small bath for a tiny bathroom??

My house has a tiny bathroom in it. At the moment there is a shower in it. A full length bath wont fit but my mother says that there is such a thing as a 'half-bath'... Basically just like a bath but (you guessed it) about half to 2/3 the length. I'm keen on finding one as it would still have the function of a shower but also alow for things that you need a bath foor - like bathing kids. I've looked around but can't find anything... There's no way I can afford some sort of expensive bespoke bath, it's got to be cheap. Anyone know where you can buy a 'half-bath' or a company/website that specialises in very small bathrooms???

  3. you can get a half bath! have you tried B&Q? or the Bath Store?
  4. get one from a RV supply store. that will fit perfect in your small bathroom.
  5. ♪ I bought it on eBay ♪
  6. you might be able to get a half bath.. but one thing is for sure it wont be half price...... try a search on e bay just to get some ideas of what is out there there and then google it to see what comes up.. hope that helps
  7. recently installed one that we got in screwfix about a foot smaller than a standard bath and only £79 .if you look up the website you'll get the proper dimensions
  8. I think small baths would violate building codes in some cities. Don't ask me why. Maybe because the fire dept got tired of being called to extricate fat people from their baths
  9. Or you could see if a 'corner bath' would fit. They have those in B@Q type places
  10. I was thinking about corner bathtubs too. Max makes a 54 inch tub....for RVs. Maybe that's where you should be looking.
  11. This company specialises in small baths. They start from £200. go to this website!!
  12. homebase do them.go take a look
  13. First, do not use an RV tub. They are not built for the constant use a normal tub goes through. If you have a regular lumber/hardware store in your town, go ask them. Often they can order things the home stores can't. They do make smaller tubs, but I'd recommend a large shower. These are about twice the size of a normal shower, and often have a seat in them for handicap people. Most people take showers anymore, and a while that may make your place less desirable if you sell, often you have to do what you can with what you have. Good Luck.
