What color would you paint a small bathroom?

We just bought this house my bathroom is small and it is painted this awful bright blue color. I would like to paint it a warmer color such as brown. What scheme do you suggest?

2. if the room is really small don't go with a dark color - try white or cream walls to really open up the room and make it look bigger...
3. i have a small bathroom,it used to be pale peach&cream,its very warming & relaxing,its also been a pale green & pale pink,that was really nice too,my bathroom is pink&white at the moment with bkack and pink towels,and black & white flooring,it looks great,pale soft colours are better for bathrooms,not blues though they tend to feel a bit cold,pale yellows,pinks,greens peaches,pale browns such as light beige,or sandy type colours are good...good luck.
4. You could use a buttery yellow that would make it warm Alot of people use a pale green to give the bathroom a spa like feeling.Brown would make it look small.
5. since you have a small bathroom, i suggest you paint it lighter to have an illusion of a bigger space. (colors such as light yellow, light green, or maybe white w/ a little accent color). painting a small space dark would make it look suffocating. :)
6. Netural = Beige anthing you put in your bathroom will macth with this even if you change you decorating least you will not have to re-paint. Plus you need to use an egg-shell paint small shin do not use kitz in this area mosture will make midew. No flat paint either. Decorate = Lets get away from the same old things like shells, fish, frog, and so on let move into some colors since anything will macth up to this color lets do. # 2 flowered picture a live flower some where in the bathroom know with the curtains go soild not white dust and it yellowing will show go with a about 3x darker than the wall and no borders all trim high gloss latex enamal.*
