  1. We have three bathrooms in our house and we are in the process of remodeling the master. Because of unforseen plumbing issues and tile, we have not used our master for about 2 months. It will be another week and half until we can use it again. I would suggest to change the one with the least amount of work first and then do the other one. Doing both at the same time might be a bit hard. Tile in general, for our 36 sq ft. took three days until we were able to walk on it to ensure proper curing and no movement of the tile. All in all, it will be worth it, but I don't recommend doing both at the same time.
  2. I agree...unless the house is unoccupied I would remodel one bath at a time. Altho a small bathroom should take no more than a week. Week and a half tops.
  3. I agree with Helga on do not do both at once. All jobs are different, you cannot compare times do to plumbing electrical and structural problems. Once you open the walls you may find rotted wood and that alone may add a week. Are you doing the work yourself or hiring it done. I have came into a lot of jobs that homeowners have watched the DYI channel and not understood what they are getting into. If you are using contractors get a lot of estimates and never pay for a estimate. Ask for referrals from small contractors, and ask around. Make sure the contractor you choose is insured and bonded, ask for proof. What you have stated for work I would schedule my crews for 1 and 1/2 wks on each.
  4. Depends on the skill of the mechanics who will remodel the bathroom - but, i dont think, it should be less than 3 days at least!
