Why do men always turn the light on at night when they go to the bathroom and women seldom do?

Yes, I know that they need to see where they are peeing, but most modern western bathrooms are seldom pitch black . . .

7. this question is insulting i am a man, and i do not turn the light on when i go in the night, i know where my bathroom is and how to get there and back my wife, on the other hand, when she goes in the night needs to "tell" the entire house that she is on the move...and she needs the light too
8. You try it. See if you can pour water out of a narrow spouted container into the toilet from waist height. In your bathroom, without turning on the light. See how good your aim is. After all you 'western bathroom is seldom pitch black' Just jokin' Please do let us know how much spillage/splashage occurs. Mosh

11. If you want us to pee in the dark, you will have to stop complaining about our aim.
12. Peeing in the dark is not a normal thing to do, are ancestors also found it not nice to do so. It,s dark you are peeing, you are then at your most vulnerable , for attack from anything or anyone. Having the light means you feel more secure, not really a question of missing the seat this day and age. As for women they must squat or they would spray everything, not the man who,s aim is true.
13. because they are aiming further from the water...and they don't want to miss... When a man is tired....there are no IQ points so they need the extra help.. Be gratefull..they good pee in the potted palm and make you clean it up.
