I wrote this poem a few years ago. Judgment Halls Middle School halls are where it begins. Spreading gossip and lies, Where everyone loses and no one wins. Where we just toss each other into social bins. Somewhere in a bathroom a young girl cries, Middle School halls are where it begins. The place where we make most all of our sins. Only designer the most popular girl buys. Everyone loses and no one wins. Those who follow trends all look like twins. By way of expressing ourselves, these clothes only disguise. Middle school halls are where it begins. Lots of popular girls with their smirks and mean grins. You too embarrassed to even meet their eyes. Everyone loses and no one wins. Middle school is where a lot of people try to be “in.” That girl losing self-respect every time she tries. Middle school halls are where it begins. Where everyone loses and no one wins.
