Dreaming of bathrooms - why?

(No responses like "it means you have to pee" or "be a bathroom designer", please.) I've dreamt of all types of bathrooms over the years. I'll dream of: clean and dirty, big and small, luxurious and simple, single/house and group/dorm, realistic and completely crazy... At this point, I don't think anyone could come up with something new. The usual plot: I need to pee or shower. I grab my shower stuff, maybe keep forgetting things. People slip in ahead of me or I can't find an open stall/room. I lock the door/doors, but people continuously knock on the door/walk in/walk through/stop to talk. I usually wake up when I get so frustrated that I want to scream. What do you think? (One of my sisters said she sometimes has dreams like that, too.)

You must be really popular.
It is a dream of being in stress. You are having a tough time accepting some of the things that are happening in your life and they do not make sense to you.
In the scenario you describe in "the usual plot", it sounds like you have a hard time finding the time and privacy to be alone with your most private thoughts for awhile, just to get a little space for yourself for awhile....
maybe you don't get the privacy you deserve when you need to pee?
