Does anyone know how much a bathroom designer would charge?
Is it by the hour? Or by the job? I'm trying to figure out if it is something I can even entertain. Also, any advice?

- I have no idea really. I remolded one of my bathrooms a few years ago and I just went to the place and picked everything out on my own. I went in with a few general ideas and then just went with the flow of my eyes and thoughts. I had a company put it all together for me and it ran me a little over 10 grand. Just my experience.
- I dont know which country you are from, but I live in Australia, and the person that will actually do the job can give you excellent ideas. He knows all the cheapest places to source the materials and his experience has shown him what can and can't work. When I was having my bathroom done, some of the ideas I thought would work ran straight out the window. Not only were his ideas great, they didnt cost anything and he charged a good price. So my advice is ask the advice of a person that does these things and get it done free.
- Assbey hit the nail on the head. I am a contractor in Boston Ma. U.S.A. and I've been told by many people that I have great Ideas. So I'm sure other contractors will also have great ideas. Just a bit of advice. If you move the plumbing from one side of the room to another its going to cost. Good Luck Moskie257
