Why do chicks take their own pictures in front of a mirrior?

I saw on a dating sites that many chicks take their own pictures in front of a bathroom mirror through their cell. Which basically turns me down, because it tells me that they don't have anyone else to take their pictures. Usually, hot chicks pictures are taken while ugly chicks take their own pictures, haha.

Alot of girls take pics of themselves because maybe they think its better when they do it and not have someone else take it for them. And if you mention it, maybe since your a guy, you probably do it yourself! So what do you know? Not every girl is ugly. Maybe its you looking at yourself.

19. it all started with myspace.com and the mirror shot being a must have, the little 13 year olds started that trend. I personally think it's dumb because the photos look really bad- even if the girl is pretty.
20. Your generalizing if you think only chicks do it. You need to see some of the friends I have on myspace and facebook. I'm pretty sure you take your own picture too = D

Meh. o_o I don't think it's just the "ugly" people...I think it's the ones who can't be bothered to read the manual and take a picture with a camera that has a self-timer.....I've been there as a dude, done that, and was fairly disgusted with the results myself. But what I *really* want to know is....what's up with ladies taking pictures, in front of mirrors, using a camera *with flash* bright enough to hide the camera? O_O Are they *trying* to be mysterious? Do they *really* want to look like they're about ready to *chuck a fireball*, Hadoken style? *rofl* Just saying... =))
27. well they are on a dating site which says they are desperate and resorted to that measure to find someone so of course they don't have anyone to take their picture! Why should it turn you off? You must be just as desperate to be looking for woman on there! And I also think Mr. Mastershake is a GOD!
