Where do you pee when there are no bathrooms at the pool?
My family moved into an older apartment building. It has an indoor pool but there are no bathrooms there. Its really far (like 6 stories) from the pool to our apartment. When you're swimming, where should you pee? Also, if I'm down there with my little sister, what should I tell her to do?

- hahaha i'm sure everyone there has the same problem, and I'm sure they all go in the pool aka giant toilet i'm a lifeguard, and it kinda grosses me out to think about that when I have nothing to do but think i guess just go after you use the bathroom
- girls peeing in the pool is fine, it's boy pee that's gross!! LOL in all seriousness though, pee is sterile. you can pee on an open wound or drink it and it won't kill you or make you sick, although the urea and nitric acid isn't good for your kidneys over extended periods of time. another thing to consider is, girls swim while on their periods all the time, swim coaches and pe teachers just have them wear tampons, and even get them from teh school nurse if they don't have any, but even then blood is still getting in the water, and blood is worse than pee. but under NO CIRCUMSTANCES should ANYONE poop in the pool! poop is laden with bacteria and germs.
- well since you're already swimming in everyone else's pee, why hold it in? however if your little sister has to go #2 please take her to the bathroom. it's really gross to find a turd at the bottom of the pool. trust me.
- I pee inside the pool. Did you know that pee is quite sterile?
- there is always the bushes or take that long trip back to your house... or just ask a nearby neighbor if you can use their bathroom.
- The pool is the best place for a good long whiz. the chlorine kills most. So have fun, just don't invite me swimming.
- Big towel and wide mouth bottle like a Gatorade jar. Remember the sign: "Welcome To Our Ool. Note there is no "P" in "ool", let's keep it that way!"
- It may be true that the chlorine in the water kills the germs, but it is still a real gross-out to imagine swimming in pee, getting it in your mouth, eyes, hair, etc. I guess the best thing to do is go to the bathroom right before you go to the pool, and then don't stay too long.
