Why do people take pictures of themselves in bathrooms?

some sites i visit and i see people taking self portraits of themselves in bathrooms. what does that do? i know theres a mirror and all. Cant they do it elsewhere?lol

3. well alot of times i take picture in the bathroom because its the best room for lighting in the picture for my house. i think its just the color of the walls or something.

5. i think it must be because of the mirror factor. because they can look in the mirror and pick out the smile/pose they want for the picture. also some bathrooms have good plain white backgrounds and may have good lighting.

8. not too many people have full length mirrors so the bathroom is the best place and the lighting is better also.
9. my friends and i take pictures in the bathroom sometimes cus it has the best lighting what i don't get is why do people take pictures of themselves and then post it up on like myspace and then say ew, i don't like this picture cus i think i look bad. if you think you look bad in the picture why post it up in the first place. i think it's just their way of fishing for compliments.
10. the mirror image is not actually you so they take a picture in the mirror to make themselves look better.
11. Ok I'll admit that I've taken self-portraits in the bathroom but only because my bathroom has the best lightning in the house and the only big enough mirror to be able to take a decent picture. But I try to hide the fact that the picture was taken in the bathroom though.
12. Best room for lighting, and there is a BIG mirror that they can see what they are taking a picture of! Plus, it's usually the room that isn't cluttered up with lots of junk!
13. I never understood that either. A lot of people take myspace pictures in the bathroom with a toilet in the corner or something. PRETTY ATTRACTIVE...

15. Funny you should ask this because the other day, I went to my friend's house and she went straight to the bathroom with her camera and started taking pictures. She asked my if I wanted to join in but I hate being in photos, so I declined, watching my friend posing in front of the mirror. Curiously, I asked her, "Why do you take photos of yourself in the mirror?" She replied, "Because so I can see how I'm posing and so my parents don't catch me taking pictures of myself. This way, I can lock myself up in the bathroom and they won't suspect a thing"..If I was them though, I would..
