Oblivion: Do items level with you?

I'm playing Oblivion until Skyrim gets patched up some more and I don't want to enter the oblivion gates or do Shivering Isles because of the unique items, unless they level with you? On the Wiki the unique items have levels and the higher level the better enchantment so they do get better but not getting them yet I am just not sure if they level with you because some say yes and others say no.

2. All items in Oblivion have a set attack/defense. They never get any stronger, but get weaker if you don't maintain them. You shouldn't worry about Oblivion Gates or the Shivering Isles (unique) items being weak if you go in now, they aren't getting any stronger whilst you stay out of them. However, regular items that you find will change, based on your level. In other words, no, items don't change at all and will have the same stats forever.
3. If you get some of them at lower level, they probably will NOT have the same enchantment power as if you got it at a high level, so I'd say no because once you obtain it, that set enchantment you're stuck with unless you reload to a previous save and wait until you're a higher level or something.
