The Property Brothers on HGTV, do total make overs or just what is shown on TV; why not a complete make over?

On the show Property Brothers which I enjoy watching, however they never show a completed home.. only portion of it.. If a couple wants bedrooms, kitchen and game room.. why only show some of it and not the entire make over.. Or is it only those rooms which are made over?

1. Probably only allotted so much time for the show. This goes for all shows on HGTV and DIY, but my biggest complaint is that they never show people doing electrical work and explaining what exactly they're doing. I love to watch DIY with my boyfriend who's an electrician.
2. Two words: time considerations. They did indeed work on everything that needed to be fixed in a home, but the most egregious things (like the bathrooms and kitchens) get shown and the lesser triffles (like the regular bedrooms) don't fit into the 45 minutes of broadcast time they get.
3. Leaira and Thedamnm are correct in that the Property Brothers are limited in time. We have to send episodes to the network by certain dates AND we can only show so many rooms without overloading an episode. The budgets you see on the show are for the renovations we show. Many times we go back after filming to complete renovations in other areas of the home.
