- beans on toast.
- Well...assuming you don't want to go with the mac and cheese? Or if you do... Take two boneless skinless chicken breasts (make sure they are thawed) and sprinkle them with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. If you use garlic salt, don't add extra salt. Saute them in a nonstick skillet until they are done (I do it until they are starting to brown on the outsides. You can slash them open to see that they are fully cooked. Then just put them on the plate slashed side down. Take your mac and cheese and make it like you usually would except add the following - a dash of garlic powder (just a dash or it overpowers) and a dash of crushed red pepper (or chili pepper if you don't have red pepper). Be careful not to add too much or it will be waaaay too spicy. Then serve with peas or green beans which are a nice compliment to the chicken and the mac and cheese. Top it off with nice italian bread or breadsticks. YUM!
- You can make a salad? Kraft Dinner? Or that mircovable dinners, they have things that are already premade and all you have to do is boil in water or microwave. Just check out whats in the grocery store, also find out if your guy is allergic to anything too (or if hes picky) If you want to do it from scratch there are some youtube video's you can look at; like http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=easy+dinners+for+two Orrrr you and your boyfriend can do a dinner date, go pick out recipes and try to make some random meal for the night. make sure you don't food poison anyone by remembering to stay sanitary and not having vegetables mix with raw meat or leaving the food out for too long in the danger zone Temperature. Also clean vegetables, even if your not using the skin part of it, always clean it anyway that way when you cut into it your not having any unwanted bacteria enter your food.
- spaghetti with pre-made sauce and ground hamburger. You can also make garlic bread, or buy it. To make the spaghetti just boil some water, add the noodles and boil until they are tender. Next brown the ground beef in a pan with some olive oil. Once it's browned add the sauce and heat through. Drain the noodles and add the sauce mixture. To make the garlic bread, buy some french bread, butter and garlic salt. Mix the butter and as much garlic salt as you like to make the butter taste like garlic. Cut the bread in half, spread with butter. Toast it in the oven for like 5 minutes or until it's just browned and the butter is melted. Voila! Easy Italian dinner!
- Hi! Pasta!!! Guys love pasta! Just boil up some linguine and make this sauce to put in it. Chop up and saute a half a yellow onion, two chrushed cloves of garlic in two tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil. Sautee until tender but don't cook on too high of a heat that will brown the onion & garlic. You only want the onion translucent. Actually, I will attach here my fave pasta sauce for you. Onion & Garlic Pasta Sauce Recipe Ingredients: 1/2 lb spaghetti or other Italian pasta 4 cloves garlic, minced or chopped 1/2 onion, chopped 1/8 cup butter or margarine 1/8 cup olive oil grated Parmesan cheese Directions: To cook spaghetti sauce, in a heavy frying pan or cast iron skillet, slowly heat the olive oil and butter, add garlic, onion and saute until dark golden. Meanwhile, cook pasta in a large pot of slow to medium boiling water until tender. Drain, do not rinse. Pour onion and garlic sauce hot over cooked spaghetti, toss lightly to coat and top with parmesan cheese. Serve with french bread and extra parmasan cheese. This recipe will cover about 1/2 pound of spaghetti or other pasta. For a variation, sprinkle with fresh-dried basil before serving. Now if you fry a couple of Hot Italian Sausages up separately and then slice into half inch slices after blotting them with paper towel to remove excess grease from them, and mix the slices into the pasta sauce, it'll be super delicious! He'll love that!!!
- pasta with meatballs. its really easy. i find that even if my sauce is not the best, when i take the baked meatballs and simmer them in the sauce for maybe 30 min or more, it saves it everytime.
