How do you combine the square footage of two bathrooms?

For my Interior Design class, I have to draw a floor plan that totals no more than 1300 square feet. Well, on my plan, I decided to change the second bedroom into an office. So, I kept the square footage the same and changed the name :) Anyway, I don't need the second bathroom now, however, so I want to "add" it to the master bathroom. On my floor plan, I would have to erase the solid wall between them. So, If both bathrooms are 6 feet, 0.96 inches by 6 feet, 0.96 inches, what is their new, combined square footage?

  1. 6 feet 0.96 inches is close enough to 6 feet 1 inch that you couldn't measure the difference. 6 feet 1 inch = 6.083 6.083 x 6.083 = 37.0069 This is 37 square feet for one bathroom or 74 square feet for both bathrooms
