Why was my question about european kitchens reported?

I asked why some people in European Countries like Germany take their kitchens with them when they move. And how did this custom get started. How could that offend anyone??? Does yahoo delete anything that gets reported or do they actually read the question?

  1. Did you ask "Why" or "Do you know why". The first would be ok, the second chat. Context makes a big difference and also it matters if you chatted with users in the added details. Note, the second can simple be answered "no". If you want to know the reason for the violation, post "Why was this question (answer) a violation?" and add the original e-mail you got so the users can see the exact context. The experienced users here will explain it to you. There is no statute of limitations on breaking the YA rules.
  2. answering the second question you asked because the first one is already answered... well, second and third question. And they jsut delete the question. They never read it or even have anyone see it. I could report this question too, and this question could be deleted, even though there isn't anything wrong with it. And usually it takes a few people to report a question for it to be deleted. EDit: misread. people could be mad because they don't find that strange.
  3. Without knowing what the question was, it's impossible for us to say. Did you get a violation email? If so, what did it say? Did the question expire with no answers? If so, Y!A deleted it (they don't send emails for this scenario). Did the question end the 'in voting' process with "No Best Answer" as the winner? If so, Y!A deleted it (again, no email is sent). Y!A also deletes questions if the Best Answer is reported and deleted. :o) http://malaysia.answers.yahoo.com/info/community_guidelines;_ylt=AnMxGk6dVCLnSPcLEs0BIMarQAx.;_ylv=3
