Creative idea for poster?

I am planning on running for Student Council next year for my freshman year. I have a year to come up with a poster design, and I want something really creative for people to see. This one girl made a giant pencil and it said, "Pencil me in!". I think that is a reaalllly good idea and although I have a few ideas of my own, I would like some ideas to make my poster really good.
