Oblivion Console Commands Help?

I've been having fun on my newly installed Oblivion for my computer, but I was somewhat irritated when I found that I'm stuck with a unique-leveled armor which has some rather impressive enchantments, but it's the lower version of what I could've got, so I looked into using console commands to get the correct set of armor since I'm stuck with this one currently, only to discover that the Base ID of the item was xx0020A4. I researched into how to decipher what the xx should be for my game, but I just can't figure it out, specifically the item is part of the Morag Tong set from the Mehrunes' Razor expansion. Any Oblivion mod/console geniuses able to help me out? I'm too far past the point to get another Morag Tong Cuirass without console commands. Thanks in advance, Chaseung. Already tried the unofficial elder scrolls wiki, the explanation it gave was far too complicated.

  1. There is a website called the unofficial elder scrolls wiki. I use it when im trying to find stuff like this out just type that into google and you should get the website. It may take a bity of serching but you should find waht your after.
  2. Try a previous save :D I'm guessing the x's are 0s. Other then that you would have to probably use the Oblivion world editor to find the codes for the items.
  3. The first two numbers refer to the order of the plugins (expansions) u are loading. The "oblivion.esm" (or master) is always 00 Then next loaded plugin would be 01 The 3rd 02...and so on. U can determine the order the plugins load with OBMM (Oblivion Mod Manager). If u only have the typical mods installed u can simply keep trying incremental numbers for the first two numbers until it shows that u have added the desired item. If it happens to add something from another addon that u don't want, u can always delete it (or use the "player.removeitem" command). Naturally since your item is from Mehrunes addon, it won't be 00 for the first two digits.
