I have hard wood floors and natural wood cabinets which I don't want to change. Oh and he connects to my living room which is a cocoa brown

- If you are looking for traditional "country" colors, some of the most commonly used ones are referred to as Barn Red, Mustard Yellow, Federal Blue (Colonial Blue), and Hunter Green. Here is a pretty good idea what these look like http://www.generalfinishes.co.uk/index.cfm?page=store&CID=26 Some more modern country colors include, Pumpkin, Sage, Grey-Blue, and Aqua. They are more muted and pale than the traditional versions. Some are shown here : http://moderncountrystyle.blogspot.com/2011/01/step-3-choosing-colour-scheme.html
