What are the good magazines to get updates of new technologies in software industry,new project ideas ?

I am B.E computer student.I want to know new innovations,new ideas.

1. Magazines are not what they used to be, I used to read Magazines such as CHIP, DIGIT and Living Digital, first they give interesting updates and advancements in software and hardware industries and useful tips on programming, sometimes, even sample source codes. Nowadays, they became magazines for dummies. Anyway, if you are an Indian, I recommend Digit Magazine as in my personal taste, is the best of the three I mentioned, I never read magazines other than these though. Updates of new technologies in software industry, new project ideas etc. are given dedicated sections in this magazine.
