Interior design for a teen room?

I am a 15--almost 16 year old, girl. I will be moving soon to a new home and I'm looking for some cool bedspreds and ideas for interior design. I love the idea of a casual and fun beach theme. I want something that doesn't look too child-ish though. In particular, I'm looking for bed spreds and lamps. I already have multi-colored stripped sheets. I want something that can work with them.. For the lamp, I'd prefer something plain-but cute. Pictures and links would be greatly appreciated. I'm deciding between wall colors as well. I love the colors blue, red and yellow. Get creative! I would love some help with this:)
