what is your favorite item for baby?

Did you ever get a really unique gift for baby that no one really had and now you are having a hard time living without it? I am trying to get some good baby gifts that I can either buy or hand make...

  1. If the mom-to-be is going to be nursing, the My Brest Friend nursing pillow is absolutely indispensable, trust me! Otherwise, a wipe warmer is really nice, especially in the winter.
  2. There is nothing that can not be had in modern times. However, I'll like to gift a cell operated Musical chime .
  3. I can't say I couldn't live without it, but I got a pacifier holder/ clip with my daughters name on it in silver beads which is really cool I think. A lady makes them and sells them on ebay and other crafty websites. I get a lot of comments on my daughters. http://www.madeit.com.au/uploaded/2010-10-28/f4fd64f92D54332D42c02Dbda82D3cbb6bfd2607Hot5Fs.jpg
  4. hey hun my baby girl has a lambs wool wrapper. she cant sleep without it. it is a godsend and it keeps her warm and cozy. we have the car seat footmuff to match it too. http://www.mothercare.com/Wallaboo-Fleece-Lined-Wrapper-Pink/dp/B003DWBP4W/sr=1-10/qid=1290953805/ref=sr_1_10/276-9219769-4739827?_encoding=UTF8&m=A2LBKNDJ2KZUGQ&n=42764041&mcb=core
  5. my daughter had her fuzzy and soft blankets she doesnt have a blanket attachment but she does love to have it there to hold on to when she is feeling down, and teething i think the best thing i got though was a scrapbooking set and my husband got me a camera
  6. I would agree with the person who said My Breast Friend nursing pillow IF you are sure the gift recipient is planning on breastfeeding. Another idea is a moby wrap. I loved this wrap and couldn't have lived without it. You can hand make one if you can get a hold of a pattern for one.
  7. A personalized book and cuddle blanket are great.
