Can anyone offer any help on sites about interior design and paint colors?

I am redecorating my bedroom and my living room and desperately need some help on the colors and some ideas for design. Thanks to anyone who can help me :)

1. Go to Amazon.com's "home decorating" department and find some recently published books that have the look you want to achieve. Keep in mind the furniture that you will be reusing or can afford to buy. Then go to your local library's website and see if a.) they have the book, and b.) if you can reserve the book. Then go to your library and check it out. The resources listed in the back of the book can tell you the exact color and brand of the paints they used. Best advice is to keep it very simple and neat. It's hard to go wrong if you can accomplish those two goals.
