can someone help me with waves questions for my astronomy class!! i dnt really understand this...thank u!! 1.why are infrared waves used to study nebulas. 2.Discuss the problem with telescopes when lenses are used to collect light and how sir Isaac Newton solved the problem by inventing a radical new telescope design. 3.what is the goal of any telescope? 4.How did we model the Keck telescope? Describe in detail. 5.   1. Here are some hints, since it wouldn't help either of us for me to do your homework. Look up dust extinction laws, how lenses are secured in telescopes, telescopes in general, the Keck telescope, what conditions we look for when selecting sites for observatories, those particular telescopes, how mirrors are constructed for telescopes, the supernova cosmology program, and spectroscopy. Wikipedia has all this information, and would be a good place to start next time.
