- Since it is your interest, you should take up Bachelor of Arts Major in Interior Designs Program. Studying a course that is in line with your skills and talent will help you get a good career. Just love what you are doing and try your very best. In interior designing, furnitures are a major part so try and look at http://www.arnoldsofficefurniture.com/ for any ideas for practicing your skills.
- if your college level is senior examinations before/instead of uni - go for art subjects and maths and try to find a part-time job with a national chainstore or related service company that might keep you for higher education sponsorship and employment opportunities when you've proved your merit.
- You would be suited to a Visual or Communication Arts College. You will be exposed to many fields of design & will get a wide range of education. What you are describing as your interest is Commercial Design, & Commercial Designers make a lot more money than Interior Designers. If you go to a mainstream college, take math & architecture & Interior Design courses. Research the colleges you are applying to to see if they offer a Visual or Communication Arts program. Good luck to you.
