What modern day technology do you most struggle with and why?

I'm a university design student who's been charged with a project to look into redesigning the kinds of technology that people (especially the elderly and non tech-savy) struggle with. Therefore it would be really helpful for people to let me know what kinds of modern day products they struggle to use. PLEASE AVOID COMPUTERS, KITCHEN APPLIANCES AND MOBILE PHONES. thank you!

1. The very nature of TECH is computers. Lots of customers come to us to make things cheaper and easier to use. Most have real challenging problems. But they all share one common theme, the older generation wasn't raised using computers or technological stuff. Like digital microwaves, computers or even complex programable thermostats <--- that is a good one. Take a thermostat for example.My grandmother has a hard time using the one in her house. It is digital. it is always messed up, on air conditioning when it is winter. I would do a thermostat, Everyone has one, and they are a lot more complicated then they use to be.
