What are good colors with a green? Interior design?

I want to paint my kitchen with a bright green, but I don;t want to over do it, my house theme is nature, and trees, anyway my great room is a light beige with some green paintings and I have high ceilings and the celling is a red/orange it really works well sense the celling are very high, and the trim is a dark brown wood stain. But I have a problem my house is very open with a few walls that define spaces but it flows nicely and open, but I don't want to use one color for the whole level, so I thought about painting the Kitchen a light green that is in a large picture in the great room. I also have a smallish living room that is sperate from the great room, but close to the kitchen, it is not one room together but you can see the rooms together. I don't want to paint the living room green too, what would be good colors? Other suggestions would be highly appreciated. Thank you.

1. what about a darker earthier green for the kitchen? that way it wouldn't clash as much. or a dirty kind of greeny brown, i'm not a specialist on paint, but i mean like a shiny bronze type thing. like a green rust (like bronze)! from what i can tell, you are going to need a dark green instead of a bright one
2. How Bout Sea Blue Colour? or yellow(Bright Sun/Lemon) or Apple Red
