Decorating ideas for a kitchen?

I just moved to a new place and the kitchen is really really nice, but it has no character. I was thinking of how I could design it. It has white colored cabinets, light colored floors, all white with a little bit of black appliances. Would a grape theme be a good idea? Give me some of your ideas!

1. The grape theme has been done to death, in my opinion, but if you like it, have it. With white cabinets and black appliances, you could do a Paris theme -- include a poster/print with red and/or mustard in it. I always think a color palette, rather than a grape/hens/ivy/etc. theme is best. I'd go with black and white and a third color -- from an adjacent room, or red, tan, mustard, sage green, yellow. Just black and white would be terrific.
