Interior design color question?

i have black leather furniture and black flat screen tv and home theather. earth tone color carpet. what color do i want to paint the walls for my entertainment room?? so it will be a room to relax in and watch movies. its modern contemporary

1. A nice sage green is soothing. You may want a warm tone grey since it is a movie room and you may not want a shade as light as the sage would be.
2. You can go for earth tone forest green (lighter shade). we have the same layout like yours and we're ages 24 & 26, the colors were awesome!
3. I have a few suggestions for you. All the colors are from Sherwin William's in their color visualizer section. If you would like a medium shade of sage I would recommend "Green Earth". If you would like to go a tad darker, but still keeping it in the sage family, I would recommend "Dried Thyme". If you prefer blue, a nice shade that would look good would be "Refuge". All three choices bring the feeling of calm and relaxation and they all coordinate with your black furniture and earth toned carpet. Good luck, and don't forget the popcorn!
4. I love light blue with black for a cool, sophisticated look. For a warmer palette, choose a sandy or caramel shade.
