Why are there in and out doors to catering kitchens?
Often when I'm in a café or restaurant I see that there are separate doors for the staff to go into and out of kitchens. Why is this?

- So that the people carrying plates don't crash into each other and break the plates and glasses. It makes serving and tidying up much more effective.
- Do you want to be the one heading OUT of the kitchen with a full tray of food at the exact moment that someone's heading IN to the kitchen with a full tray of dirty dishes? Didn't think so.
