please help my mother is jealous of me......?

I am beside myself right now. My mother is jealous of me and if I try and speak with her about it she won't list My mother is beautiful and an accomplished woman. The economy has been horrible for the last ten years and she can not find a job in human resources. She has been working at a thrift store for five years and they are very abusive to her. She has a master's degree in organizational behavior. I love to encourage her to tap into her creative side. She is good at interior design and writing. She has also been single for five years. With all of her phenomenal accomplishments she still feels inadequate and unhappy. My mother is having issues with her age. I am 29 and I have been retired for four years from the military because of an injury. I also receive a lot of attention from men. My focus happens to be college. I am enrolled as a full time student. My major is linguistics. I moved from a three bedroom apartment to my first house. I understand she would like to buy a house as well. I have dreamed of being a homeowner for a long time. I have been approached by reps from modeling agencies. My mother said I don't know why they approach you. I guess they did it for whatever reason. I was a little hurt by those comments. She also said it would take her awhile to visit me in my house. I never talk about my achievements anymore. She makes me feel like crap. I always remind my mom of her accomplishments. She has this smirk on her face when she talks about my 30th birthday. I am happy to finally reach the big 3-0. Please give me some advice on how to approach her.

2. i know shes your mom, but why the hell would you want someone like that in your life. she is fishing for compliments from you, shes a grown women she should feel comfortable in her own skin by now. i think you should worrying that bitter old hag and live your life. dont let er tear you down honey!!!!!!
