Suggestions as to where I should get my daughter's 6 month pictures taken at?

I had my daughter's 3 month pictures taken at Photo Innovations and loved how they turned out but they were sooo expensive. So now my daughter is 6 months and we're ready to get her pictures taken again but need some suggestions and prices as to where we should go. I was thinking about going to a Picture Me studio at Wal-Mart. Has anyone gone there? If so how did your pictures turn out and what were their prices like? I could really use some help. If anyone has other suggestions please throw them my way!!

1. I don't know where you live, but I took my daughter to Sears, and they turned out really nice. I heard JC Penny takes really nice pictures. Usually you can find coupons in their sales papers or online.
2. Wal-mart's photos are dirt cheap, but the quality is HEAVILY dependent on the photographer. Most of their employees are armatures who they have basically taught to point and shoot - so you may only end up with mediocre pictures. I've gone there several times with my girls, and as of late, have stopped going back due to the poor quality and bad experiences. My best advice would be to look on your local craigslist or newspaper, sometimes there are aspiring photographers who need to build a portfolio who will do on site photo sessions (or studio) for next to nothing, all you have to do is take the digital negatives and print off whatever photos you want in the desired size.
3. I definitely recommend sears. They did my friends' sons 6 month pictures and they came out so adorable! He was sitting in a little bathtub with towels and baby powder around it and a rubber ducky he was holding. I went to walmart for my sons pictures and I did not like them at all. They did not do cute poses (we ended up with the one of him on his tummy with a stars and clouds background). They are cheap but if you want enhancements they will get expensive.
4. I've never used Wal-Mart but have seen many pictures they have taken of nieces and nephews and they always seemed great. My favorite is the Picture People Studios. Very spendy so I only go there when they have their free 10x13 pictures. I got my daughters done 3 times at olan mills and loved them and they are cheap and located in most belk stores. Now to save even more I take them myself with the awesome camera my wonderful hubby bought me :)
