My Asus computer won't go pass the Asus start screen... help?

Last night I was playing a mmo and my computer died while it was still on the game because of low battery. So I went to sleep after that, this morning when I tried to turn on my computer, it won't go pass the "Asus inspiring innovation persistent perfection" screen and I have no idea to reboot it. It's possible that it might be still trying to load my game while it's still on would be my guess. But how would I be able to reboot? Should I put in my Windows Recovery disk in? Help? I tried to let it die completely and it didn't work still.
