Why just have a FREE HIT ball in IPL, Why not more innovations?
Such as Satyam's L Modi, Free hit is not generating sixes now, so I think we should also have SLEEP ball - the fielders can go to sleep, BATSMAN ball - batsman decides where exactly the ball is bowled, PACE ball - batsman decides at what pace the bowler can bowl, A SIX/FOUR ball - ball will be repeated until SIX/FOUR is the final outcome, SPECTATOR ball - only the spectators can bowl this ball. Also the fielders can be selected only amongst the spectators. LADIES ball - same as SPECTATOR ball, except the restriction is only females are allowed to bowl and field against a regular IPL batsman. SPONSOR's OVER - the highest bidding sponsor can have a whack at the batsman. SIXER OVER - Bowler bowl's until Yuvraj's six sixes is emulated - even if the batsman is R P Singh. NOT OUT OVER - bowler cannot get a wicket in the entire over - Only Satyam's L Modi can decide when he can declare a batsman out, OVERLESS over - only the batsman decides when the over ends and finally HATRICK BATSMAN - the same batsman can play 3 times during an IPL innings. If a batsman can play when his catches are dropped, why not also give this offer to a batsman. and many many more such innovations. Sambas, I suppose you are unable to realize that I am only criticizing the stupidity of Lust Modi and his lust for money.

- Why don't you play OONGLI CRICKET instead of these dump suggestions?
- Batsmans choice - Batsman walks out and declares how many runs he has scored and off how many balls without having to go through the pesky process of actually scoring the runs. toss wins the game - whoever wins the toss wins the game and all the players head to the pub for a few friendlies. Half pitch creaseline - the bowler has to bowl the length of the pitch but a second creaseline is added in the centre of the pitch so the batsman only have to run half as far. One stump - there is only one stump making it harder for the batsman to be given out LBW or bowled Fielding restrictions - restrictions mean the fielder may not throw the ball back to the keeper/bowler and must run it in from the outfield. foot wide bats - restrictions on bat width should be removed to allow foot wide bats to be used. tennis ball over - the bowler must bowl one over with a tennis ball rather than a cricket ball. 30m circle boundaries - the 30 metre circle is now the boundary, you must still have 4 fielders outside the 30m circle. Pint per boundary - The batsman must downa pint after each boundary (this will be popular with Symonds) These would all make the game way more interesting. good question
