Can you give me your opinion?
My husband and I have been together for about 6 years and married 2 years. We have a baby girl Isabelle who is 5 months old. We are renting a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom condo right now, and are planning on designing and building our own home. My husband's friend is an architect so he said he can get some of his work friends to help us. We have to give him ideas for the design of our house to make blue prints. It's going to have 6 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms. Here are some home designs we like. 1) http://www.istockphoto.com/stock-photo-6338805-expensive-home.php 2) http://www.istockphoto.com/stock-photo-4110763-modern-luxury-home-in-suburbia.php 3) http://www.istockphoto.com/stock-photo-8280721-luxurious-suburban-house.php 4) http://www.istockphoto.com/stock-photo-4639473-beautiful-country-estate.php 5) http://www.istockphoto.com/stock-photo-2278730-suburban-home.php We like homes 3, 4, and 5 the best but like them all. which ones do you like?

- Hello- I love giving my opinion! They are all beautiful. I like numbers 3 and 4. 5 doesn't really strike me. Number 3 is very regal and formal looking, while 4 is a little more of a country style, so maybe you should consider which one makes the better statement about who your family is. Your home is a reflection of your collective personality. What do you want the exterior of your home to say about you? I started to look at the other photos that popped up when you click on #3, and I found this (LOVE IT!): http://www.istockphoto.com/file_closeup.php?id=827469 Thanks for the opportunity to live vicariously through you for a brief moment!
- They all kind of look the same really, opulent and lacking in character except for #5 which has a little warmth because of the various use of texture. But you have said nothing of your lot! You want 6 bedrooms but only 3.5 baths. That's ridiculous. you'll have a half bath downstairs, one ensuite bath in the master leaving two baths to service 5 bedrooms. give the pictures to the architect and let him know the style of house you're looking for then let him know about your lifestyle then leave the design up to him.
