Is UPS a good company to work for?

If it is a good company to work for, then where in UPS should I actually work? There's the actual parent UPS company. Then you have many of it's subsidiaries, such as: UPS Supply Chain Solutions UPS Trade Management Services (Subsidiary of UPS Supply Chain Solutions) The UPS Store UPS Air Cargo UPS Capital UPS Customer Solutions UPS Express Critical UPS Freight UPS Logistics Technologies UPS Mail Innovations Should I work in the actual parent UPS company? Or should I work in one of UPS's subsidiaries?

  1. No it is not.
  2. The guys that deliver the boxes get all of the action in the porn movies.
  3. Right now any company is a good company to work for if you are luck enought to have a job.
  4. I'd go with which over one is hiring and why is this in politics? As for the rest I've heard mostly positive things about working for UPS but they are fairly selective on their hiring for the better jobs
  5. The best thing for you to do is ask an employee who works for UPS this question if you really want a true and honest answer. Call up the UPS division you want to work for and ask for a tour or schedule an appointment with one of the company's administrators, managers, or Human Resources. A Human Resources professional can help you make the right decision about what the best job for you would be in their company if you are not sure. Plus, do your homework and research the company on your own. If you are willing to learn and can do the job, most companies will give you a chance. Sometimes a company prefers younger, inexperienced workers and will hire them on an entry level salary. You can also ask for an internship/apprenticeship depending on your age and financial situation to see if a certain company, job and/or career is right for you. The hearsay that I know is that UPS pays good wages and treats their employees very well. Work expectations are hard and difficult because of the volume of work that UPS does in the course of one day. Key to finding out what you need to know is network, network, network and communication, communication, communication. Go out and talk to people. Don't sit at your computer all day hoping you will be discovered for the great person you are.
