What are the rules for using domestic kitchens for preparation of commercial products?
Want to prepare foods in order to sell at a stall. Fairly small quantities.
Public Comments
- For sure one rule is that you can't have a bathroom/washroom off the kitchen. And I think another is that you can't have pets in the house.
- Check with your local health department. Rules vary depending on where you are, but there will most likely be many rules.
- In the UK your kitchen has to be inspected by the Environmental Health department. you will need a current Health/Hygiene/safety certificate and public liability Insurance.
