What are the rules for using domestic kitchens for preparation of commercial products?

Want to prepare foods in order to sell at a stall. Fairly small quantities.

Public Comments

1. For sure one rule is that you can't have a bathroom/washroom off the kitchen. And I think another is that you can't have pets in the house.
2. Check with your local health department. Rules vary depending on where you are, but there will most likely be many rules.
3. In the UK your kitchen has to be inspected by the Environmental Health department. you will need a current Health/Hygiene/safety certificate and public liability Insurance.
