Are Ikea kitchens quality kitchens?

I'm redoing my entire kitchen soon and am contemplating going Ikea. Has anyone done their cabinets and counter tops through them? Are you pleased with them? I want quality merchandise with the least dent in my pocket. Any experiences and thoughts on their cabinets/counter tops would be great! Thanks so much in advance!
