- 9. Frankly, I thought the story was boring, silly, and a complete waste of time (no errors in punctuation b/c all commas are in the correct places; this is a list, so there must be commas after boring and silly). The first sentence is erroneous b/c it should have a comma after closed her eyes, (before and), as this is a list of what she did. The second one is also a list, so it should have a comma after "designed" and before "the." The last one should have a comma after hay b/c he is listing what Josh put in the truck. 10. She had bought a frame for the photograph, but the frame was too big (no errors b/c it is correct to have a comma before but). The second one should have a comma before yet; the 3rd one should have a comma before "or" (b/c it separates two independent clauses), and the 4th should have a comma after four and before "so." 11. The bright, colorful curtains let in plenty of light. The 2nd one is a list, so it should read: "You can clean your room, rake the yard, or help me with the car. The 3rd one should not have a comma before "was" (b/c "was" is a verb, and you can never have a comma before a verb); the last one should have a comma after "baking." 12. If the music annoys you, I'll turn it off. (No errors). The others should read: Between the flagstones, along the path, tiny flowers were growing. No, I have never seen the president in real life. Tired of listening to the band, we walked outside. 13. When I turned 13, 13 presents sat beside my birthday cake. The others should read: Behind the door in the storage shed was the extra set of keys. Along the street, lights in the houses winked on. When she called, I didn't recognize her voice right away. HOPE it helps :D
