What is the Diablo 2 item "Burnt essence of Terror"?

I was playing an open Battle.net Diablo 2 Lord of Destruction game on hell mode with "/players8" active. I killed Diablo (for the fifth-some-odd time) and he dropped some stuff like always. None of it really interested me (they were all magic items. Nothing rare, set, or unique) except one item with orange lettering. "Burnt essence of terror" appears as a red-orange powder in your inventory. Does anybody know what it's for? I get the feeling Mephisto and Baal drop their own respective essences, and you combine the three in the Horadric Cube and you get something, but that is just my random (usually inaccurate) guess. P.S. Anybody know what it means when Runes have orange lettering instead of white lettering. Some unique monsters have dropped them in games I've played and I wonder what the different color means...

1. Essences There are four new items to be found: Twisted Essence of Suffering(Andy/Duriel) Charged Essense of Hatred(Meph) Burning Essence of Terror(Diablo) Festering Essence of Destruction(Baal) Found at random at the Hell Bosses in the brackets. Once you have one of each, cube them to get a Token of Absolution Which allows you to respec both stats and skills on right click.
