What is a creative design I can paint on my Wall?

I'm painting my room a light lime green and pink. The wall is going to be solid pink but I need a patter on my wall for the pink. It's only going to be on one wall. I don't want stripes, polka dots, stuff that's ordinary. I want something fun and btw I'm thirteen and this has to last me a few years. I wanted to do my friends hand prints and then them sign their names but my parents won't let me. Please give me some ideas. Thank you.

1. You could paint a tree. Cartoonize it and you can put birds on the branches and have each of your friends sign a bird. That way you still have that fun reminder of your buddies but it would also be a little more appealing to the eye.
2. If you want something fun, I would put up posters of stuff you like. Painting a wall is not easy or fun, and probably won't turn out how you want.
