creative Book Poster Ideas?

I have a book poster due in a few days, yes i procrasinated, but yeah. I'm not the best at drawing but I try. I need some creative ideas to design the poster. Like last year one person used pieces of colored paper to do a simple boat picture. The poster has to have the Title, Author and a quote (8-10 words at most) because it has to stand out from far away. So I really need some ideas? The book is Lock and Key by Sara Dessen. and its about a girl whose abandoned by her mom, and lives with her sister who she hasn't seen in ten years. It's pretty much about family, and we can't draw the book cover. :| In the book, her assignment in her new school is to find the definition of "family" which she doesn't really have, so she has to ask everyone what family means to them. So I'm planning to do a girl sitting in front of a desk with a paper that says "family: (insert definition) So how should I design it and what do you think I should draw to make it related to family? & if i do draw it should I color with crayons or color pencils? or should i rip paper? but that's been done before, I need something eye catching and simple. 10 points for best answer, please and thank you! 1. it could show a big keyhole showing the girl facong the blackboard (so u can only see the back of the head) and on the blackboard it should say Family insert definition. Eatched around the keyhole should be the name of the book. and at the bottom of the keyhole there should be the austhor. you should have the writhing yello/gold and the rest brown like a door apart from the area inside the keyhole. Some random ideas for decreating the paper you could burn the edges. Or have a bit of the paper missing. Hope i helped with my ideas. GOODLUCK
