Why do people take their pictures of themselves in the bathroom and display it on facebook, myspace, etc?

If you ask me that's kind of tacky.

1. I haven't seen this sort of thing before... I sure don't have any "Inappropriate Pictures" of myself on ANYTHING that uses my real name... Last time I heard, something like 35% of all job applicants are rejected for the position because of what comes up when the boss or HR Googles your name. If you are out of a job, you REALLY need to google yourself and see what comes up... It could be hurting your chances of bettering yourself!
2. Something to do with lighting and thinking it makes the pic look better.

4. WOW # 1 Absolute Best Question of the Day ! Recently a friend sent one around the internet of a "lady" in the bathroom, posing in the mirror, the toilet in the background, and GUESS what was in the toilet. SO FUNNY, in a pitiful sort of way.

6. I assume you mean regular pics, not like inappropriate stuff. I think it is because they have a mirror, so they can check their own image and be happy with it before they take the picture.

8. i agree, and it is usually the younger crowd who does it due to the mirror and sometimes because they don't have someone there to take a picture with and or to have take a picture of them... sad
9. It's because of the large mirror in there. People usually point the camera at the mirror and take a picture like that. Many people think that they look better in the mirror than they do in pictures so they take a picture of how they look in the mirror. There's plenty of reasons.
10. usually because they have a big mirror where they know how they look and take a good picture. it might be for private reasons and don't want their parents watching....??? don't know but i don't take vanity pictures of myself that much and i do kind of agree that taking pictures in the bathroom is quite tacky
