Shopping websites/clothing stores with low priced (indie/vintage/unique) clothes?

I've been browsing Yahoo answers all morning and other websites because I'm trying to find vintage clothing and possibly indie clothing, school appropriate dresses, destroyed jeans, fashion forward tops like you see at delias and forever 21, unique sandals/shoes/boots, etc that do not cost a lot of money or as much as they do in those stores I know there's Forever 21 and Wet Seal and Charlotte Russe out there that have low priced stuff but I'm looking for brands, stores, and shopping websites that may not be commonly known or places well known that carry such items Any ideas..?

2. I say this to almost everyone. Thrift stores! You can find tons of vintage and designer stuff, just as long as you keep options open. Thrift stores are like lost-and-founds in fashion time... you can find discontinued brands and lines, and crap from fifty years ago! just look, and if you are determined enough, you will find.
3. i know that Urban outfitters has some pretty unique stuff, but im not sure if they ahve the exact Indie style ur looking for, but a really cute and trendy store that has amazing sale racks lol

Theres always awesome stuff on sale, and since those stores aren't as well known, it's ok if you buy the clearance because there won't be people with the same shirt as you.
