I am a vendor at flea markets- trying to think of unique items to sell- Might book ends made from rocks sell?
Most of my items are fair trade and I am proud of that inventory, I'd like to diversify. I live in the north east and can get items made from rocks and minerals from a reputable wholesaler. Thank you for your time.

- From my experience being a flea market vendor full-time for several years, I'm afraid to say that I don't think bookends -- even fabulous stone, free-trade ones -- would sell. I really don't think enough people keep home libraries to warrant bookends any more. One problem with finding unique items to sell is that there is a smaller market base for them. Many people, I assume, who are interested in exotic rocks and minerals would probably not come to a flea market to find them. I would personally focus on more mundane things, especially consumable things, at the flea market. IF the flea market in question is much more of a collectibles or antique market, the bookends would have a better chance. I think you still need to diversify into other things though. Best of luck to you, and happy flea marketing!
