Hey I just wanted to know, since I'm about to get a bunch of Brett Manning CD's offline, I just figured it would be a good idea to ask yahoo's musicians for some advice on vocals/ singing/ writing music and more. ok here we go. 1. I definitely want to work on my range, and do my best to perfect my chest voice and falsetto and make sure I have very good transitional quality in my voice, and I want to just live up to my full potential with my vocals since you only live once and I might as well be able to sing real good. Yes I know. Practice practice practice. But I just want to find a good approach to it and I want to make it into a daily routine, which is tough, but I'm committed as long as I know what I'm doing. 2. I really want to learn how to play piano, guitar, and actually for some reason I'm tempted to play the saxophone. Do you know where I could find online sources to great guitar/ piano/other musical instruments lessons and info so I can start getting into that. (I have a piano now and I like to mess around on it, but I know I need to start understanding everything better and practicing more) 3. I'm really interested in music so I'm hoping you guys could spark up some innovation and give me some wonderful insight to further help me with what I'm trying to do musically now. 4. Right now I'm in a band, which we actually just started up. I'm singing, and that's all I know how to do now. I want to be very flexible with it though because I'm not in it just to be all Jonas Brothers and stuff... haha. I'm in it for the music and because I want to be able to express the songs in my head, and the ideas that are always floating around. I write poetry all the time, and it seems like I never can change it into songs. I guess I'll have to figure that out another time. Anyway, Too many questions in one... hopefully some of you guys can help me out. Thanks a ton! I really appreciate your help! :D
