how can fix up my very small bathroom?

my bathroom is very small about the size of a walk in closet (maybe) i painted it blue a few years ago now the paint has brown spots in it im thinking of repainting it a beige so that maybe it wont look dirty, and i cant use the bathtub b/c it's broke and it would be too much trouble to replace it (my house has two bathrooms one is smaller than the other,so im just doing without a bathtub in the smallest bathroom).i want to make my bathroom look bigger and nicer than it does right now.

  1. Fix the broke bathtub. What's wrong with it?
  2. Things that make a bathroom look smaller: small tiles on floor, light colors, something up high to draw attention upward, mirrors.
  3. Well, my small bathroom I added those mirrors that look like windows and that made a huge difference. I also added a white shower curtain which would look great against the beige color you are talking about. I added little vases with white and yellow fake flowers to bring a little nature inside. I kept it very minimal-no pictures, no medicine cabinet and only a small towel loop to add 2 decorative towels. Just don't try to give it the feeling of a large bathroom and you will get it right.
  4. Well if your bathroom is really small, of course, paint is the easiest and maybe the cheapest way to update the space. If your bathroom is small, storage may be an issue as well. What type of vanity do you have? I recently needed a new mirror and vanity in my one bathroom and I need some extra space and this mirror vanity did just the trick. http://www.simplyplumbing.com/kohler-k-cb-clw2030daw.html I love the simplicity and clean lines of its design. This site also has great bathroom sink and shower head fixtures that can also be another means up updating the space. Hope this helps!
