How to organize my small bathroom?

My bathroom is very small. The toilet is infront of the sink. The sink has a mirror with a lighting fixture on top and a hand towel rack on the side. The toilet has a cabinet on top with a towel holder on the bottom. I have my lotions and shampoo in that cabinet. Now I don't know where to put my curling irons, blowdryer, mousse, and other hairstyling products. Also, need a place for my makeup etc. Any ideas?? This is my private bathroom and need some help........Thanks

  1. a picture would help you know....no one can do this in their heads, geez. we're not geniuses on here
  2. wow that is tiny! put the shampoo in the bathtub to make room for the cabinet over the toilet. you could hang some things on the wall maybe. or put it in a bin under your bed and just drag it out when you need it into the bathroom. some kind of hanging thing on the bathroom door. that's all i can think of with out seeing it, good luck!
  3. If there is room on top of the cabinet behind the toilet, you can get an attractive bin to keep your other items in and just take it down when you need it. Put the things that are most important in the cabinet and keep the rest in a separate bin. Walmart has organization things on sale right now so you may want to check that out!
  4. A few well placed hooks could help--hang blow dryer, curling iron. (you might have to make a loop in the cord, but often dryers come with a loop for hanging.).. If you can't add them to the wall, perhaps you might utilize the sides of the cabinet above the toilet.. I have also found bins that will fit under a free standing sink that might help with make-up / toiletries... Have you considered using an old-fashioned "dressing table" or vanity in your bedroom for applying make-up / doing hair? Such old furniture is often found for pretty cheap at flea markets, and would give you a lot more room... Such "desks" also typically come with a stool and a built on mirror, so you can sit and relax while you work... (If your home is old, part of the reason the bathroom is small is that such "vanity" mirrored desks were the norm for bedroom furniture sets before the 1960s/ ranch style houses with bigger bathrooms/built in vanities/counter space set a new norm ... )
  5. don't stressed with your small bathroom because there are many creative ways to maximize what you have though the space element may be limited. Many ideas for small bathroom designs and I got some tips at http://www.bathroomvanityfurniture.net/small-bathroom-designs.htm Read and you will find some ideas. enjoy..
  6. Do you have space in your sink vanity? It will be helpful to reorganize and store all your toiletries there. My boyfriend's bathroom is pretty small like this and he has a rack for the hair dryer and stuff. Hope the links help, good luck!
