Why do gay men have sex in public bathrooms and parks?

I don't seem to understand. Most public bathrooms i've been to are NASTY and with the internet you can be anonymous and still have sex in your home so what's with the park and bathroom sex? I don't see straight people doing this.

In my experience dealing with people of the homosexual persuasion (only recently due to an accident -- http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Aq79N5Wsjiy2fhQFqavGyMvWDH1G;_ylv=3?qid=20100211001148AAQ5okB) I've found its sort of a friendship ritual to do a turn and turn about in a bathroom stall, its how they learn to trust each other.
3. what? straight people do things like that as much as anyone else. have you ever been to a club. there are always people having sex in the bathroom. gay or otherwise.

7. I know people who aren't gay males who have sex in public bathrooms and parks. Maybe they like it, or don't feel like waiting to get home. But don't categorize this as just gay males, I know straight, bi, and homosexual both males and females who do it.

9. First of all, I do not have sex in neither public restrooms nor parks. I agree with you about public restrooms, they're nasty; parks are clean but most parks I've been to either have itchy grass or ants so doing it in a park is out of limits for me too. Second of all, you won't see straight people having sex in public restrooms because women do not enter mens' restrooms. They know it's gross in there (they know their own restrooms are filthy it makes no sense to assume a male's restroom isn't). Also, have you actually seen men have sex in public restrooms? Or do you hear about it? Because what people say is usually out of proportion with what people actually do. If your source of information is the news, well, you'll rarely hear about straight couples getting caught in the park first because it's no big deal and broadcasters usually don't care... when it's gay sex OHDEARLORD it's interesting, must-know news.

11. The reason it doesn't happen with straight partners is because they don't share public bathrooms. If you think that no straight couple have ever had sex in a public place though you're sorely mistaken. Incidentally, 'dogging' involves straight couples by far more often than it does gay, due simply to the sheer difference in numbers.

13. Just because you don't SEE straight people doing these acts, doesn't mean they don't. I actually have seen a straight couple having sex in a park once. They were in some bushes, and I guess they thought they were hidden. I noticed the girl's bare a** because she was bent over and the guy was standing right behind her. I almost burst out laughing at the stupidity, especially because it was cold that day LOL. The point of this story is, ANYONE, not matter the orientation, can have sex in a public place. Maybe the thrill of doing the deed in a place that's not meant for sex is exhilarating. Maybe they're horny and can't wait until they get to a private location. Maybe they just don't care if they get caught or who sees. These are just some of the many reasons, but these acts are NOT limited to gay men. I hope you understand that and not assume things about gay people.
