I want to go to college for interior design, can you help?

I thnk they want me to submit a portfolio. but i have never drawn plans out for interior designs or is this for like kids who have already been in college and they want to get bach degree? I want to to to college in New York. Like FIT or New York School of Interior Design. HELP!! I AM ONLY IN 11TH GRADE.

1. If you want to do this seriously wouldn't you already have found this out by contacting the relevent college and asking what entry requirements are and where portfolio can be obtained. You can do a course that provides you with a portfolio. I have done such a course in Australia at a technical college. I am unsure what similar courses you would have - maybe community college.
2. You will be hard-pressed to get accepted in an interior design college since you don't have an interior design portfolio. I suggest that you take out crash courses and short programs related to design and create an online portfolio using Scribd or a similar website where it could host your works. If you are running out of time, you could attend a community college to sort things through and just transfer if you have develop enough material for your portfolio.
