Modern Warfare 2 realism question?
I have a question: since when do the laws of physics dictate that a plastic riot shield (designed for deflecting rocks and other debris thrown by mobs) can sustain a point-blank direct hit with an AT-4 antitank missile with no injury to the shield's user? I mean, c'mon, Infinity Ward.

- Well its a video game so its not meant to be completely realistic. You also cant get shot multiple times in the chest and just hide behind some cover for a few seconds waiting for your health to recharge and be fine. there are many things about the game that are unrealistic, its really just meant to make the game more accessible and fun. if it was to realistic you would die after one shot and rarely last that long in massive firefights which would make the game very frustrating. its a game, not a simulation of war.
- you missed
- Dude, chill out it's a video game.
- they did that because it is just a game. if you want the most realistic military experience ever, then join the army and go to iraq
- Yes I must admit that IS very unrealistic. But is getting shot in the chest, hiding deeply breathing and then being fine realistic? Yes I agree, but realism is a stupid issue to me. If you want a perfectly real ware sim, then join the army, because the game cannot be perfectly real.
